This Chinese clock is a rare clock that survives today. 'Stray Cat' has a Chinese Chefoo movement which is a 'budget' imitation of the German movements and produces an hourly gong instead of the more common chime. 'Stray Cat' got its name because it showed up here in pieces needing a lot of love and healing. I built the crown and added gold lettering that spells 时光飞逝 which is Chinese for "Tempus Fugit" or Time Flies. Truly unique.
